Alandi, February 21, 2021: An 80-gram gold razor has been made and is being used to shave people. The name of Avinash Borudia in Alandi is being discussed in the Pimpri-Chinchwad area and neighbouring villages. The cost of shaving with a gold razor is Rs 100. Out of curiosity, people from rural areas including Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad have flocked to see and get a shave with this golden razor.

Borudia started a saloon shop called ‘Rubab’ with two young men, Yuvraj Kolekar and Vicky Waghmare. Avinash had an idea to do something to the name of the shop. Accordingly, he chose the gold metal which has an important place in Indian culture. He acquired a gold razor weighing 80 grams by the artisans of Rajasthan. The price of the razor is around Rs four lakh.

‘Rubab’ was inaugurated grandly and customers started flocking in to shave with a gold razor for just a hundred rupees. Even in this time of inflation, customers are seen crowding as they get shaved with a gold razor.

Avinash said that he intends to make gold scissors in the future. So there is no doubt that after a few days the cutting will also be done with gold scissors.
