Hinjawadi, 19th August 2025: Authorities at Kasarsai Dam have announced an increase in water discharge from the spillway into the Kasarsai stream to regulate rising water levels amid continuous rainfall in the catchment area.

As of 3:30 pm on Tuesday, the outflow has been raised from 560 cusecs to 1,480 cusecs, according to a statement issued by Executive Engineer Digambar Dubal of the Pune Irrigation Department.
