Pune: Khadki-Nizamuddin Special Trains Announced; Booking Starts October 9
Pune, 8th October 2025: To manage the expected surge in passenger traffic during the upcoming Diwali and Chhath festival season, Central Railway has announced the operation of additional special trains between Khadki and Hazrat Nizamuddin. The services will run as bi-weekly specials with a total of eight trips.
Train No. 01427 Khadki–Hazrat Nizamuddin Bi-Weekly Special will depart from Khadki at 16:45 hrs every Wednesday and Sunday from October 15 to October 26, 2025, and reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 20:00 hrs the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 01428 Hazrat Nizamuddin–Khadki Bi-Weekly Special will leave Hazrat Nizamuddin at 21:25 hrs every Thursday and Monday from October 16 to October 27, 2025, arriving at Khadki at 23:55 hrs the next day.
The train will halt at Lonavala, Kalyan, Bhiwandi Road, Vasai Road, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Vadodara Junction, Godhra Junction (for Train No. 01428 only), Ratlam, Shamgarh, Bhawani Mandi, Ramganj Mandi Junction, Kota Junction, Sawai Madhopur Junction, Gangapur City Junction, Bharatpur Junction, and Mathura.
The train composition will include 16 AC 3-Tier coaches and 2 Luggage/Generator-cum-Guard’s Brake Vans, offering fully air-conditioned travel during the festive season.
Bookings for Train No. 01427 will open on October 9, 2025, at all computerized reservation centers and on www.irctc.co.in. Passengers can check detailed timings and halts on www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in or through the NTES app.
