Pune: Kirit Somaiya Felicitated At The Same Spot Where Had Fallen Last Week Amid Clash With Shiv Sainiks

Pune,11th February 2022: BJP leader Kirit Somaiya was given a warm welcome at Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) in Shivajinagar. Also, Somaiya was felicitated on behalf of BJP on the same steps of Pune Municipal Corporation where he was pushed by Shiv Sainiks.

BJP workers had gathered in large numbers. Somaiya also addressed the gathering.

The PMC had closed all entrances upon Somaiya’s arrival. Many BJP party workers were trying to gain access to the PMC. To bring the situation under control, the police had to use force. Workers from the BJP were seen chanting anti-Shiv Sena slogans.

“Thackeray regime tampered with the lives of Pune residents. This is Sanjay Raut’s unnamed company. Aditya Thackeray won four contracts with the Mumbai Municipal Corporation after the company was blacklisted by the Pune Municipal Corporation.

Uddhav Thackeray and Sanjay Raut run an unnamed business. Unless action is taken against them, I will not be safe”, Somaiya stated.

He alleged scam in the functioning of Jumbo Covid Centre in Pune. Somaiya met Municipal Commissioner in this regard.
