Pune: Kulkarni, Ghate Start On Winning Note At BKT All India Open Fide Rating Chess Tournament  

Pune, 9th November 2021: International Master Vikramaditya Kulkarni of Railways, WGMSwati Ghate of Maharashtra started their campaign on a winning note winning their opening round with white pieces on the opening day of the Buddhibal Kreeda Trust organised All India Open Fide Rating Chess Tournament being played at Ashwamedh Hall, Karve Road.

FM Aditya Samant and FM Sauravh Khherdekar also won their opening games.

The tournament was inaugurated at the hands of Niranjan Godbole, Secretary of MCA and Ashwin Trimal, VP of PDCC and MD Of Truspace. Prakash Kunte, trustee of BKT, Dr Sanjay Karavde, Secretary of PDCC, Chief Arbiter Nitin Shenvi were present on the occasion. Vinita Shotri welcomed the guest and proposed a vote of thanks.
