Pune: Logistics Company Employees Booked For Embezzling Goods Worth Rs 7.53 Lakh Belonging To Reliance Jio Mart

Kondhwa, 17th September 2022: Four employees of a logistics company have been booked by Pune city police for allegedly embezzling grocery items worth Rs 7.53 lakh belonging to Reliance Jio Mart.

 

The incident took place between June 1 to August 10 at the godown of Grab a Grub Services Limited located in Kondhwa Khurd.

 

The accused have been identified as Karan Varma of Warje Malwadi, Shubham Kokne of Kondhwa Budruk, Yogesh Ithape of Belvandi (Ahmednagar district) and Khanderao Karale of Kondhwa Budruk. Jalindar Natha Gurav (31) has lodged a complaint with the Kondhwa police station.

 

According to the police, Reliance Jio Mart had sent goods worth

Rs 1.8 crore for distribution and it was kept in the godown of Grab E Grab Services Limited.

 

The delivery boys delivered goods worth Rs 1.72 crore to the customers. The remaining goods worth Rs 7.53 lakh were returned to the godown. The accused, who were expected to return the remaining goods to Reliance Jio Mart, embezzled them.
