Pune: Music Teacher Booked For Thrashing 7-Years-Old Student

Lohegaon, 17th September 2022: Pune city police have booked a music teacher of the Bharati Vidyapeeth English Medium School in Lohegaon for allegedly thrashing a seven-year-old boy. The teacher had also hit the student’s head against the wall twice.

Based on the complaint from Ashraf Mehboob Sharif (34), a resident of Sant Nagar, Lohegaon, Vimantal (airport) police station has booked the teacher named Komal.

 

According to the police, the incident took place at the school located on Vadgaon Shinde Road in Lohegaon on September 15. There was a fight between an injured student and his classmates. Then, the school’s music teacher held his face tightly and slapped him six to seven times. She threw his diary and injured his right hand. She hit his head twice on the wall.

Assistant Police Inspector Nigudkar is further investigating the case.
