Pune: Loyola H.S., St Patrick’s, and Infant Jesus Dominate Day-9 Fixtures at Loyola Football Cup

Pune, 12th November 2025: St Patrick’s H.S won one and drew the other matches in their two age groups while Infant Jesus H.S had one age group in their bag, and host’s Loyola H.S won their age-group encounter on Day-9, of Loyola H.S in the Loyola Football Cup 2025, powered by Tata Autocomp, at the Loyola H.S ground, Pashan, here on Wednesday.

The day began with host’s Loyola H.S winning a hard-fought 1-0 victory over St Xavier’s in a Group-B encounter in the Under-12 section. The al- important goal was netted by Aarav Patil (31′) minute which settled the issue for the day.

Later, St. Patrick’s H.S: won against Infant Jesus H.S in the Under-12 section and later won against St. Patrick’s H.S in the Under-14 segment respectively.

In the Under-12 section St. Patrick’s H.S struggled to down Infant Jesus H.S 2-1. An early own goal by Arjun Dharam (4’) put St Patrick’s H.S in the lead. It was not until Arush Kamble (26’) that the match doubled the scoreline in favour of St Patrick’s H.S. With the encounter going St Patricks H.S way, Infant Jesus H.S managed to pull one back through Chinmay Girgaonkar (34’) to end this Group-D Encounter in favour of St. Patrick’s H.S 2-1

In the Under-14 segment. Infant Jesus H.s had Stephen Kumar net five-goals including a hat-trick (1’, 15’, 19’, 21’) to win their Group-D dncounter 5-0 against bt St Patrick’s H.S: 0. The other contributor to the tally was Chaitanya Pangul (7’).

In the last Under-12 segment encounters, Hutchings H.S and Vidya Bhavan H.S earned full points from their fixtures as their common opponent Hume McHenry School conceded a walk-over in their respective encounters.

Lastly, in the Under 16 section St.Patricks H.S were held to a 3-3 draw by Infant Jesus H.S. a goal each by Ashley Anthony (6th), Harshul Bhopale (23’), Mark Bellalar (60’) did the scoring trick for St.Patricks H.S. For Infant Jesus H.S a brace by Sarthak Kadam (19’, 58’) and Arush Thube (48’) levelled scores.
