Shivajinagar, 19th June 2021: MLA Siddharth Shirole has demanded that the state government should promote home dining and home kitchen business.

A meeting of the tourism department was held today (Saturday) under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. MLA Shirole participated in this meeting.

“Due to the Coronavirus disease (COVID19) pandemic and lockdown,  small restaurants near tourist destinations and many dependent families have found themselves in financial crisis. For this, the state government should encourage businesses such as tourist places, forts, homestays, home kitchens, only then the families in this business will recover”, MLA Shirole demanded.

He asked Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar to simplify the process of issuing licenses to these professionals.

Also, MLA Shirole proposed to renovate the resort of the state government’s tourism corporation (MTDC) through the private sector.
