Pune: Police Seek Suggestion, Objection Regarding New Parking Rules In Viman Nagar
Viman Nagar, 19th June 2021: The traffic branch of Pune city police is going to make new rules for parking on two roads in Viman Nagar.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Rahul Shrirame said that on the 200 meters stretch between Konark Nagar Society and CCD Chowk parking has been allowed on odd-even dates P1 and P2 basis. Also, 100 meters road between CCD Chowk to Oakwood Society is allowed to have P1 and P2 parking.
He also added that any other rules ordered before for the aforementioned parking areas now stand dissolved.
Police have appealed to citizens to send their suggestion, objection if any to the DCP Traffic office, near Yerwada post office, Airport road. People can send their views by July 1. A final decision will be taken based on feedback from citizens, the traffic branch stated in a press release.
