Pune: Maharashtra State Board Commences Supplementary Exams for 10th and 12th Grades

Pune, 18th July 2023: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (State Board) has initiated the supplementary examinations for the 10th and 12th grades today.
A total of 49,468 students have registered for the 10th standard exam, while 70,462 students have registered for the 12th standard exam, with the highest number of registrations coming from the Mumbai division.
The supplementary exams are conducted by the state board to provide an opportunity for students who did not pass the regular examinations held in February-March. It also offers a chance for students who wish to improve their grades. As per the schedule released by the state board, the exams for general and dual subjects of the 12th grade will take place from July 18 to August 8. The exams for business courses will be held from July 18 to August 5. The 10th grade exams will take place from July 18 to August 1. Additionally, practical, category, oral, and internal evaluation exams for both classes will be conducted from July 18 to August 1 for the 10th grade and from July 18 to August 5 for the 12th grade.
This year, a total of 70,462 students have registered for the 12th-grade examination, while 49,468 students have registered for the 10th-grade examination, with the highest number of enrollments recorded in the Mumbai division. “29,458 students have registered for the 12th grade, and 15,135 students have registered for the 10th grade,” stated Anuradha Oak, the secretary of the state board.
