Pune: Major Fire in Viman Nagar Office Building Disrupts Business Operations And Causes Traffic Chaos

Viman Nagar, 9th May 2023:
A major fire broke out in the bustling Viman Nagar area at around 12:30 PM today, causing widespread panic and traffic chaos. The fire reportedly started in the parking area of the Marvel Edge Building, before quickly spreading to other parts of the building. About 2000 people were safely evacuated from the building.
Eyewitnesses reported a strong smell of burning rubber before the fire became visible. All employees from the building, around four to five companies, were quickly evacuated. The blaze caused significant disruption to office work, with many businesses forced to shut down for the day.
Firefighters rushed to the scene to battle the flames, while the cause of the fire is still unknown.
According to fire brigade officials, four fire tenders were dispatched to the Marvel Edge office building to extinguish the fire.
