Pune: Man Arrested For Growing Ganja Plants Outside His Home In Pimple Nilakh
Pimple Nilakh, 7th September 2023: A shocking discovery has been made in Pimple Nilakh, where illegal ganja plants were found growing right in front of a residence. Pimpri Chinchwad Police swiftly arrested an individual and confiscated two plants, totaling a weight of 12.462 kg and an estimated worth of Rs 1.96 lakh.
The accused in this case has been identified as Dhanesh Aniruddh Sharma (34), a resident of Pimple Nilakh originally from Bihar. Sharma, who works in the furniture industry, resides in a chawl within the Pimple Nilakh area. He took advantage of the vacant space opposite his house, which contained some trees, to secretly cultivate two ganja plants.
Upon receiving a tip-off, the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) sprang into action, resulting in the prompt intervention by the police.
