Pune: Man Arrested for Harassing Korean Vlogger in Ravet
Ravet, 19th December 2023: Pimpri Chinchwad police swiftly took action and arrested Bharat Karanrao Hunusnale from the Ravet area for allegedly harassing a Korean vlogger during the Diwali period. The arrest followed the circulation of a viral video on social media, capturing the disturbing incident.
In the video, the Korean vlogger, holding a coconut in her hand, was exploring the city when she faced harassment from the accused. The victim, in her video, expressed her discomfort, stating, “They really like to Hug.”
The incident occurred near Bhondve corner in Ravet, at a fruit stall owned by Santosh Gilgile. Although the incident was initially reported three to four days before Diwali, it gained sudden attention on social media platforms, prompting the Anti Gunda Squad of the Crime Branch to take immediate action.
