Pune: Man Arrested With 2 Pistols Near DY Patil University In Lohegaon
Viman Nagar, 29th October 2022: A 38-year-old man has been arrested by Pune city police for allegedly possessing two pistols and six live cartridges.
The arrested accused has been identified as Ramkrishna Vishwas Bhondve, a resident of Chinchwad. An FIR has been registered against him at Vimantal police station.
According to officials, he was nabbed yesterday near DY Patil University in Lohegaon based on a tip-off. Six countrymade pistols and six live cartridges, totally worth Rs 91,000, were seized from his possession.
The investigation team included Senior Police Inspector Vilas Sonde, Police Inspector (Crime) Mangesh Jagtap, PSI Ravindra Dhawre and police personnel Avinash Shewale, Ganesh Salunke, Sachin Kadam, Sachin Jadhav, Rupesh Pisal, Nana Karche, Yogesh Thopte and Rupesh Todekar.
