Pune: Married Policeman Dismissed From Service For Having Affairs With Young Women
Pune, 29th October 2022: A police constable of Pune city police has been sacked for having affairs with young women while being married and asking a female police constable for marriage despite not being divorced.
The name of the sacked police constable is Hemant Nathu Rokade. Rokade was posted at Warje Malwadi Police Station. A case was registered against Rokade on January 2, 2021, at Kannada Police Station in Aurangabad. Rokade got married on 6 May 2018.
According to police, he took his wife for a walk in Lonavala and threatened to kill her. After a case was registered against Rokade, a departmental inquiry was conducted against him. He appeared only once for questioning. He did not cooperate in the investigation. He was having affairs with many young women and had also proposed to femal constable for marriage.

Additional Commissioner of Police Rajendra Dahale ordered Rokade’s dismissal from the police department after inquiry found that Rokade’s actions had tarnished the image of the police force.
