Pune: Man Attacked and Robbed by Gang Posing as Accident Victims
Pune, 21st March 2023: A young man was brutally beaten and robbed of Rs 3,000 and a mobile phone by a gang of three who pretended to have been hit by his two-wheeler.
The incident took place on March 19 around 10 pm in the Baner-Pashan link road area. Kisan Jeswal (19), a resident of Pashan, has filed a complaint with the Chatushringi police station.
According to the police, Kisan was on his way home on a two-wheeler when three individuals on another two-wheeler came from behind and pretended to have been hit by him. When Kisan stopped to help, they attacked him with a cement block, causing serious injuries to his head, and then robbed him of his cash and phone. The Chatushringi police are investigating the matter.
