Pune: Man Detained For Allegedly Biting Off Security Guard’s Ear

Pune, 29th January 2023: A 35-year-old man was detained on Friday night on suspicion of beating a security guard and biting off a portion of his ear.

Their argument started over the issue of the flower market’s parking lot serving lunch late at Market Yard. According to the police, the accused has been identified as Aniket Kamble, a market yard employee.

Sachin Kumbhar, a 39-year-old security guard, was the victim, and Kamble knew him. Anagha Deshpande, a senior inspector with the Market Yard police, reported on Saturday that Kumbhar, a guard for a private company, was conversing with a woman in the parking lot. At this point, Kamble arrived at the scene and began arguing with them.

The policeman claimed that the victim claimed Kamble had abused Kumbhar before attacking him and the wife for not giving him food promptly. Deshpande continued by saying that Kamble ultimately bit the security guy on his right ear, causing major injury.

Following this, a police report was made regarding allegations of grievous bodily harm under the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
