Pune: Man Duped Of Rs 28 Lakhs With Lure Of Permanent Job In NDA

Pune, 1st March 2023: The Sinhagad Road Police have registered a case against two individuals for fraudulently luring a man with the promise of permanent employment in the National Defence Academy (NDA) and an electrical work tender in the NDA.

The accused have been identified as Prasad Govind Vaze of Kondhawe Dhawde and Parameshwara Ankush Shinde of Sinhgad Road. The victim, Vijay Yogiraj Sakhre (42) of Narhe, had filed a complaint stating that he was defrauded of Rs 28 lakhs between May 2022 and October 2022 in Narhe, Shindewadi, Vaerdu, and Shivne.

According to the police, the victim was known to the accused. The accused had promised the victim that his wife and relatives would be provided with permanent jobs in the NDA. Additionally, they lured the victim into obtaining the electrical work tender in the NDA. The victim paid the accused Rs 28 lakhs through online transactions and cash.

However, the victim did not receive any job or tender as promised by the accused, and was thus cheated out of his money. The police are investigating the matter and have warned the public to be cautious of such fraudulent schemes promising jobs and tenders.
