Pune: MangoAPPs Employees Distribute ‘Summer Happiness Hampers’ to Police Personnel For Their Service

Pune, 2nd May 2022: Since the past week, Pune has been experiencing a heatwave. In this scorching heat, many people are staying out of their homes just to protect us and to do their duties like policemen, traffic police, etc.

Ashwin Jangira, product manager with software company ‘MangoApps’ in Yerwada with help of his office colleagues started doing different drives when Covid started calling it ‘MangoAppsForGood’ drive.

This drive was started because it has become too hot outside, especially in the afternoons where recently the temperature touched 41 degrees C.

Ashwin says, “This drive aimed to thank some special people like Police, Traffic police and employees who stay at the BRT bus lane to only allow buses to enter, stand in this heat and serve us.”

“MangoApps company and all colleagues came together and created a ‘Summer Happiness Hamper’. We made 150 small happiness hampers for them which included 1 Bisleri Bottle of water, 1 Minute Maid Lemon Juice, 1 Amul Kool Flavoured milk, 2 Parle Poppins, 1 Parle Biscuit, 1 Bhujia Sev and 1 Moong Dal. It was distributed on Wednesday and Friday,” he said.

Ashwin further added, “It would be amazing if people come forward to help in doing such kinds of activities.”
