Pune: Marathi Film Actress Accuses Director of Rape, Threat To Make Porn Movie With Their Videos
Warje, 18th December 2021: A 25-year-old Marathi film actress has accused a director of rape and threatening to make porn movies using their videos.
Based on a complaint from her, Pune City Police has registered an FIR at Warje police station. Accordingly, a case has been filed against the 34-year-old film director Abhijit Ganpat Sathe, his sister Anita More and Rajesh Mallya, director of MS Bollywood Film Equipments in Mumbai.
According to police, the actress has worked with Sathe in a few films. In 2017, she had applied for a loan of Rs 10 lakh from a bank to start her own cinema business. She had paid Rs 10 lakh to MS Bollywood Film Equipments for some materials but did not get them. The accused also did not refund her money and allegedly threatened to make a porn film with the video clips of their affair and intimate photographs and make them viral on the internet.
Police Sub-inspector Sonali Kathale is conducting further investigation.
