Pune: Measures Planned To Achieve Zero Accidents On Mumbai-Bangalore Highway After Vehicle Check Post Inauguration

Narhe, 5th May 2023: A new vehicle check post has been inaugurated near the new Katraj tunnel on the Mumbai-Bangalore National Highway to prevent accidents.

District Officer Dr Rajesh Deshmukh has pledged to implement various measures in the area to achieve zero accidents. The check post was inaugurated by Pune Police Commissioner Ritesh Kumar and Collector Dr Deshmukh.

Other officials present at the inauguration include Additional Commissioner of Police Pravin Kumar Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police Vijay Kumar Magar, NHAI project manager Sanjay Kadam, General Manager of Reliance Amit Bhatia, Assistant Commissioner of Police Maula Syed, Senior Police Inspector Vijay Kumhar, and Assistant Police Inspector Prashant Kanse.
