Pune Metro Pulgate-Hadapsar Route To Be Finalised Soon

Pune, 27th May 2022: The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) and Mahametro recently held a meeting to decide on the route of the Metro project between Pulgate and Hadapsar. A meeting will be held again and a decision will be taken in this regard. The decision will then be presented to PUMTA (Pune Unified Urban Transport Authority).

According to Mahametro officials, Maan near Hinjawadi has a car depot for Metro. There is also a reservation for Metro car depots at Lonikalbhor. Therefore, PMRDA has demanded that work be done on this metro line from Pulgate to Hadapsar. A depot will be set up at Khadakwasla for the metro, so we will work on the metro line between Pulgate and Hadapsar.

Decided works;

 

-Khadakwasla-Swargate-Pulgate-Hadapsar Fata (Magarpatta City) to Kharadi Metro route of about 28 km length proposed by Mahametro.

 

-Shivajinagar-Pulgate-Hadapsar to Loni Kalbhor 19 km Metro route proposed by PMRDA

 

-As the 8-kilometer road from Pulgate to Hadapsar is common, a meeting will be held to decide who should develop it

 

“A meeting was held on Wednesday with Mahametro officials for the Metro route between Pulgate and Hadapsar. The meeting discussed technical issues. The final decision will be taken after 1-2 meetings. The proposal will be submitted to PUMTA,” informed Suhas Divase, Commissioner, PMRDA.
