Pune Metro’s Khadki Station Opens for Passengers from Tomorrow, Boosting Rail-Metro Connectivity

Khadki, 20th June 2025: In a major boost for public transport, Pune Metro’s Khadki Metro Station will open for passenger service from Saturday, 21st June. Located on the crucial Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Building to Swargate corridor, Khadki Metro Station offers seamless integration with the adjacent Khadki Railway Station, allowing commuters direct access between metro and rail networks.
The new station is set to benefit residents and travelers in and near Khadki, Pune University, Aundh, Khadki Cantonment, Khadki Bazaar, Range Hill, Aundh Road, Ordnance Factory Hospital, and Mula Road areas. With this addition, metro and railway passengers can enjoy smoother, more convenient, and uninterrupted journeys across Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad.
MahaMetro Managing Director Shravan Hardikar stated that the opening of Khadki Station further strengthens the public transport system connecting Pune and its twin city Pimpri Chinchwad. The launch is expected to make daily commutes easier and more efficient for thousands, enhancing the overall urban mobility experience in Pune.
