Pune, 20th June 2025: The revered Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi, accompanied by the Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi, entered Pune this evening, filling the city with devotional fervor and the resonant chants of “Dnyanoba Mauli – Tukaram.” The arrival took place around 5 PM, as thousands of Warkaris marched into the city to the rhythmic beats of cymbals and drums, marking a key moment in the annual Pandharpur Wari pilgrimage.
As both palkhis halt in Pune tonight and tomorrow, the city is immersed in a spiritual atmosphere, with celebrations and devotional programs unfolding across various neighborhoods. The Bhavani Peth area will serve as the main halt for the Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi, drawing large crowds of devotees and onlookers.
To support the influx of pilgrims, Pune citizens, Ganesh mandals, social organizations, and the local administration have come together to provide essential services.
