Pune: MILIT Celebrates ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ Week

Pune, 1st April 2022: Military Institute of Technology (MILIT), Pune, the premiere Armed Forces Training Institute that conducts technology programs for officers of the Army, Navy and Air Force, organised two music concerts on 27 and 28 Mar for its personnel and their families.

These concerts titled ‘Ekam Satt’ – One Truth, One Humanity, World Music, by celebrity singer Ameya Dabli and his team were organised as part of the celebrations of ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’, an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of India’s people, culture and achievements. The music concerts at MILIT appropriately honoured the valour of our men and women in uniform and their selfless service to the nation in keeping with the spirit of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.

The two evenings conducted at Mehra Auditorium of MILIT, celebrated the patriotic zest and magnificent musical culture of our Country. More than 300 personnel including senior guests like Dr CP Ramanarayanan, Vice Chancellor, Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) and Air Cmde AP Saraph, VSM, AOC, 9 BRD, witnessed the concerts each evening. As indicated by AVM V Rajasekhar, Commandant, MILIT, the Institute opened up for social gatherings after a long and dry spell due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
