Pune: Minor Boy Detained For Sexually Assuslting Minor Girl; Further Investigation Underway
Shirur, 10th March 2025: A 16-year-old boy conflicted with law has been detained for abusing a minor girl after meeting and befriending her on social media platform, Instagram. According to the information received, the incident took place on 6th March 2025 at 2 pm and on 7th March at around 3 pm at Malhar Hills, Karegaon, Shirur taluka, Pune.
Reportedly, the accused minor met a minor girl on Instagram and befriended her and took her to his residence in Karegaon and forcibly had sexual intercourse with her twice saying that he loved her very much and liked her very much. He also threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the incident. In this case, the police have registered a case.
In this regard, legal action has been taken by taking the minor into custody, and Deputy Superintendent of Police Prashant Dhole and Police Inspector Mahadev Waghmode are conducting further investigation.
