Pune: Minor Boyfriend Kills Girlfriend Over Suspicion Of Affair In Chikhli
Pimpri Chinchwad, 6th April 2023: A 17-year-old girl was allegedly killed by her boyfriend over her affair with someone else. Chikhli police have detained two minors in connection with the case.
The deceased girl had filed a sexual assault complaint against her boyfriend six months ago, and he was detained in a juvenile observation home for three months. He was recently released from the observation home.
The girl went missing on April 1, and her parents filed a complaint with the Chikhli police station on April 2. During the investigation, her body was found on the terrace of the newly constructed Municipal Corporation Cultural Bhavan building in Chikhli. The police revealed that the boyfriend allegedly stabbed her to death with the help of his friend when she teased him about loving someone else.
The Chikhli police have taken the minor boyfriend of the deceased girl and his friend into custody. The police also stated that the boyfriend has a criminal background.
