“In Islam, killing an innocent person is considered a grave sin. The attackers may have Muslim names, but they do not represent our faith. These acts are part of a conspiracy to defame Islam and sow hatred in society. We refuse to let terrorism hijack our identity,” a spokesperson said during the protest.
The group emphasized that Indian
Muslims are neither outsiders nor second-class citizens, and that they stand with the nation in its fight against terrorism.
“We are not guests in this country. We are equal citizens, and we condemn this heinous act with all our heart. We demand the government act firmly and bring those responsible to justice with the harshest punishment.”
