Pune: MNS Chief Raj Thackeray To Lead Protest Against Development Projects On Taljai Hills

Pune, 10th October 2021: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray will lead a protest on October 24 to oppose development projects on Taljai Hill.

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has already built a stadium spread over five acres on the hill. On 120 acres of land, seven theme-based gardens such as Nakshatra, bamboo, and local species (Ran Mewa), another cricket stadium for women, a gymnasium, a study room, and a solar panel covered parking lot are proposed to be built.

The local residents and political leaders had opposed these proposals two years when they were first published.

Now the proposal awaiting approval from the PMC Standing Committee.
