Pune: More Trips, Less Hassle, Central Railway’s Extends Periodicity Of Special Trains

Pune, 28th September 2023: In a move aimed at accommodating the increasing demand of passengers and ensuring smoother travel, Central Railway has decided to extend the periodicity of several special trains. The decision comes as a response to the extra rush of passengers and the need to provide convenient travel options for commuters.

Here are the details of the extended special trains:

Train No. 01439 Pune-Amravati Bi-weekly special: Originally notified to run only until September 29, 2023, this train will now continue to operate from October 1, 2023, to November 17, 2023, with a total of 14 additional trips.

Train No. 01440 Amravati-Pune Bi-weekly special: Initially scheduled to run until September 30, 2023, this train will be extended until November 18, 2023, with 14 more trips.

Train No. 01127 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Balharshah Weekly special: This train, which was previously set to conclude its service on September 26, 2023, will now run from October 3, 2023, to November 14, 2023, providing passengers with 7 additional trips.

Train No. 01128 Balharshah-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Weekly special: Originally expected to end on September 27, 2023, this train will now operate from October 4, 2023, to November 15, 2023, with 7 more trips.

Importantly, there will be no changes in the timings, composition, or halts for the above-mentioned trains, ensuring that passengers can continue to rely on their usual schedules.

For those interested in booking tickets for these extended trips, reservations will open on September 30, 2023, at all computerized reservation centers and through the official website www.irctc.co.in on special charges.
