Pune: Morning Walk Turns Violent as Man Attacked by Dogs in Sahakarnagar

Pune, 9th October 2025: A routine morning walk at Shivdarshan’s Bagul Garden in Sahakarnagar took a terrifying turn on Wednesday when Ganesh Bharat Jadhav, 38, was attacked by three dogs, including a pitbull, around 10:30 am.

Jadhav suffered serious bite injuries on his arms, wrists, face, neck, and hands. According to eyewitnesses, two tan-colored dogs accompanied the pitbull during the assault. Residents allege that the owner of the dogs allowed them to roam freely in the park despite being aware of their aggressive behavior.

Speaking about the incident, Jadhav said, “I was just taking my usual morning walk when suddenly the dogs lunged at me. I tried to shield myself, but they bit me multiple times. It was terrifying, and I never imagined something like this could happen in a public park.”

Following the attack, Jadhav lodged a complaint with the Parvati Police Station.
