Pune: Mother and Daughter Assaulted In Viman Nagar For Complaining Against Loud Music
Viman Nagar, 13th December 2023: In a disturbing incident in Arya Nagar locality in Viman Nagar, three individuals allegedly assaulted a girl and her mother after a dispute over playing loudspeakers in a car during the late hours.
The Vimantal police station has registered a case against the accused, identified as Ashutosh Vijay Sable (25), Aditya Vijay Sable (27), and Ashish Vijay Sable (23), residents of Gangapuram Society, Viman Nagar.
The incident occurred around midnight on Sunday, when the accused parked their car near Neco Garden Society and began playing loud music. The woman, disturbed by the noise, approached the men and requested them to lower the volume. This simple request escalated into a heated argument initiated by the accused.
Despite the woman’s attempts to defuse the situation through communication, the accused allegedly verbally abused both the woman and her mother.
The victimized woman promptly filed a complaint at the police station, detailing the assault and the theft of her mother’s jewellery. The police have taken cognizance of the incident, and Assistant Police Inspector SK Pote is leading the investigation.
