Pune: Open Car Door Leads To Fatal Accident On Mumbai-Bangalore Highway
Warje, 18th February 2023: Bajirao Somnath Gawle, a 30-year-old bike rider, lost his life in a tragic accident on the Mumbai-Bangalore highway in Warje, Pune. Gawle collided with the open door of a parked car on the Gawle Bypass and fell on the road. Tragically, a truck heading towards Warje bridge collided with Gawle, leading to his death.
The incident occurred at Dukkar Khind in Warje area. The truck driver and the car owner, Wasim Muskeen Syed, are both facing charges in the case.
Syed’s car had broken down, and he stopped the car in the middle of the bypass road, leaving the car door open. Gawle collided with the open door and fell onto the road, leading to the fatal accident with the truck. The truck driver fled the scene after the accident, and the police are currently investigating the case.
