Pune: Operation All Out In Wake Of Republic Day; 3,715 Criminals Checked

Pune, 25th January 2023: Operation All Out was implemented by Pune Police in the background of Republic Day. Accordingly, on Tuesday night from 9 pm to 2 am, as many as 3,715 criminals were interrogated and 650 people were arrested.

The combing operation was carried out four times in the last 15 days. The action was taken under the guidance of Joint Commissioner Sandeep Karnik and Commissioner of Police Retesh Kumaarr.

Operation All Out was implemented by Pune Police to take precautions ahead of Republic Day. Various teams of the crime branch along with the local police conducted a search operation from 9 pm to 2 am on Tuesday and 650 criminals were arrested.

For offences the Arms Act, 37 people were arrested and 34 Koytas, one sword, and two satturs were seized from them. Various teams of the crime branch carried out a drive across the city to nab the criminals. 473 hotels, Dhabas, and lodges were checked by the police. Also, 171 bus stands, railway stations, ST stations, isolated spots were patrolled.

During the nakabandi, 1,463 suspected motorists were stopped and checked by the police. Apart from that, 1,061 suspected motorists were checked by the traffic branch. A fine of 1.07 lakh was levied on 154 of them.
