Pune: Over 13,500 Individuals Participate In NDA Marathon To Celebrate 75 Years Of Its Foundation

Khadakwasla, 15th October 2023: The National Defence Academy (NDA) is celebrating 75 years of its foundation in Jan 2024. To commemorate this glorious occasion, various academic, sports and adventure activities are being planned spanning over a year since 16 Jan 23. As part of 75 Glorious Years Celebrations, the academy hosted ^I NDA Marathon’ was aimed at igniting the spirits of the nation’s youth while offering an exclusive glimpse into the Academy. With a resolute vision to motivate and inspire, the Marathon was conducted within the Academy’s hallowed grounds for the first time in its history, infusing participants with a blend of fortitude and endurance.

The event took place on 15 Oct 2023, with an overwhelming participation by over 13,500 individuals from across the country. The NDA Marathon featured multiple race categories including a 42 Km full Marathon, 21 km Half-Marathon, a 10 km run, a 5 km run, and a 3 km run, all happening concurrently. Participants not only experienced the exhilaration of a Marathon but were also exposed to the Academy’s top-tier training facilities and historic heritage.

The event was an unparalleled experience for its attendees, creating lasting memories and set off an enduring passion within them, propelling them towards higher levels of resolve and dedication.
