Pune: Patient’s Brother Attacked For Questioning COVID Treatment Bill

Pune, September 24, 2020: A case has been registered against the lab technician of a private hospital in Pune district for allegedly assaulting the brother of a Coronavirus disease (COVID19) with a stick.
The lab technician is accused of attacking the patient’s brother when he questioned the amount of the bill. This information was given by a police officer. The official said that the alleged incident took place in the Saswad area on Sunday when the victim raised some questions in front of the hospital’s bill department.
He said that a case has been registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. He said that no arrests have been made in this regard.
