Pune: PCMC Issues Revised Lockdown Order, Implementation From Monday

Pimpri, 19th June 2021: Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) today issued a revised lockdown order based on the Coronavirus disease (COVID19) positivity rate and oxygen bed occupancy in the last one week.

PCMC Commissioner Rajesh Patil issued the order which will come into effect from Monday (June 21).

1)The following establishments/activities will be allowed to continue till 07.00 pm

  • Essential shops will be allowed to open all days of the week. Non-Essential Shops will open from Monday to Friday.
  • Public libraries can open.
  •  Competitive Exam Centres/ Coaching Classes (Training Institute) can open with 50% of the seating capacity of the hall.
  • Single screen and multiplex theatres will be completely closed.
  •  Gym, salons, beauty parlours, spas, wellness centres can open with 50% seating capacity from Monday to Friday as per pre-arranged schedule. However, the air conditioning (A.C.) facility cannot be used in this place.
  • Agriculture-related shops and their related establishments (seeds, fertilizers, equipment and related maintenance and repair services etc.), as well as shops/stalls selling agricultural commodities in the Agricultural Produce Market Committee, will be open on all days.
  • Liquor shops will be open on all days.

2) Restaurants, bars, food courts will be open from Monday to Friday till 10 pm with 50% seating capacity. Home delivery is allowed till 11 pm but takeaway (parcel) is not allowed. On Saturday and Sunday, only home delivery is allowed.

3) Only employees of government services, airport services and port services will be allowed to travel by local train. Also, medical personnel and women will be allowed to travel.

4) Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation public places (parks), open ground, walking and cycling tracks will open on all days from 5 am to 9 am and from 4 pm to 7 pm.

5) Government Offices and Emergency Services required for Covid 19 Management will continue at 100% capacity in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation area. Government Offices (Except Emergency / Corona Offices) with 50% officers/staff will be allowed. If the above offices/establishments are required to have more staff than this, the head of the concerned establishment should seek the permission of the Disaster Management Authority.

6) Except for the Exemption Category, all private offices will be open on working days with 50% capacity.

(7) All outdoor sports will continue all days of the week. Also, indoor sports are allowed from 5 am to 9 am and 4 pm to 7 pm.

8) Social, political, religious programs and entertainment programs in the presence of 50 people will be allowed till 7 pm.

(9) Wedding ceremonies should be held in the presence of a maximum of 50 persons.

10) Funerals, Dashakriyas and related programs will be allowed in the presence of a maximum of 20 people.

11) It will be allowed to attend various meetings, local bodies and general bodies of co-operative societies with 50% attendance.

12) Construction in the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation area will continue regularly.

13) E-commerce services will be allowed to supply all goods and services.

14) In the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation area, gathering more than five people will be prohibited. Also, curfew will be imposed after 10 pm except for a valid reason.

15) Public Transport System (PMPML) in the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation area will start with 50% seating capacity.

16) Cargo/goods vehicles can have a maximum of 3 persons (driver + cleaner/helper) will be allowed to travel as per the rules applicable to other passenger vehicles.

17) No e-pass required for inter-district travel except to district which is in level 5 category (no such district at present).

18) Production in Export Oriented Units (Including MSMEs that need to fulfill export obligation) will continue on a regular basis.

The following manufacturing areas/industries will continue on a regular basis.

a) Essential goods manufacturing units.

b) All continuous process industries (Units that require a process that is of such a nature that these cannot be stopped immediately and cannot restart without considerable time requirement) items that are significant to National Security and Defence)

c) Data Centers/Cloud Service providers/ IT Services supporting critical infrastructure and services.

(20) Except for the industries mentioned in the above points No. 18 and 19, all other manufacturing sectors shall continue with 50% staff capacity. The concerned industries should make separate transport arrangements for the transportation of employees. These employees will not be able to travel on public transport.

21) Rapid Antigen Testing (RAT) of on-site workers and other persons will be mandatory every fortnight at shops, markets, companies, factories, construction sites, hotels, restaurants, bars, food courts etc. in the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation area.
