Pune: PMC Grants 100% Property Tax Exemption To Ex-servicemen, Widows
Pune, 21st June 2021: On Monday, a proposal to grant 100 percent concession in property tax for ex-servicemen and their widows was unanimously approved in a General Body meeting held at Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).

The standing committee has passed the proposal to provide a general concession in property tax to ex-servicemen, widows and soldiers who have been awarded the gallantry medal. The proposal was presented in the General Body meeting for approval and Corporator Arvind Shinde demanded that concession should be given in all kinds of property tax. The all-party suggestion was taken and after that, the proposal was approved unanimously.
The decision benefit about 10,000 citizens in the city, said Ganesh Bidkar, leader of the house, PMC.
