Pune: PMC’s Drainage Line Choke Up At Swargate Bus Stand Cause Waterlogging Inside Depot
Swargate 20th July 2023: The chocked drainage line of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) at Swargate caused heavy flooding inside the Swargate ST Bus Depot causing major inconvenience to the passengers. The commuters had to walk from the filthy water to reach the bus stand to catch buses for their destinations on Wednesday.
However, soon after the incident was highlighted to the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) officials, the teams were deployed to clear the clogged water from the area on Wednesday morning. The officials have also started work to fill the potholes inside the depot premises that were adding to the problem, said officials.
