Tree Cutting Triggers Planned Power Outage in Parvati, Unplanned Disruptions Affect Several Pune Localities
Pune, 20th July 2023: Since morning, several areas in Pune City have been experiencing fluctuations in electricity due to planned power outages. The Pune Public Relations Officer (PRO), Nishikant Raut, addressed the issue and stated that the power cuts are a part of scheduled tree-cutting operations in only Parvati area. These measures are being taken to enhance the safety and reliability of the power supply in the Parvati area.
Alongside Parvati, other parts of Pune also experienced unexpected power cuts early in the morning. Localities such as Lohegaon, Pashan Sus Road, and Mahalunge were affected by the disruptions. Residents of Porwal Road have been facing an electricity outage for the past two hours.
In response to the reported power cuts in different areas, PRO Nishikant Raut has promised to investigate the situation in locations like Porwal Road and Lohegaon to identify the cause and work towards resolving the issue promptly.
