Pune : With 350 mm Rainfall In 24 Hours Tamhini Ghat Records Highest Rainfall In Ghat Sections Of The Season
Pune 20th July 2023 : The ghat areas of the Pune district have witnessed heavy downpour in the last few hours with some recording the highest rainfall of the season. According to IMD officials, Tamhini Ghat recorded 350 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours followed by 273 mm at Lonavala and 233 mm rainfall reported at Shirgaon.
This according to the officials is the highest rainfall recorded in the area in 24 hours period for the season this year. According to IMD data recorded by Pune division, Tamhini Ghat also recorded the highest rainfall in the region followed by Dawdi with 320 mm rainfall, Koyna 307 mm, Dungerwadi 299 mm and Khopoli with 298 mm rainfall.
