Pune: PMPML Boosts Connectivity for Tukaidevi Yatra with Extra Buses for Kondhanpur
Pune, 27th December 2023: In a bid to facilitate devotees on the occasion of Tukaidevi Yatra at Kondhanpur, the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has announced additional transportation services. Starting from December 29, 2023, and continuing until February 29, 2024, two extra buses will be deployed every Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday.
Currently, the regular PMPML service operates with five buses making 58 daily trips on the Katraj Sarpodyan bus stop to Kondhanpur route, providing a bus every 30 minutes. The two additional buses are strategically planned to accommodate the increased demand during the yatra. Their schedule will be flexible, adjusted according to the crowd of devotees and the specific requirements.
For devotees traveling from Katraj Sarpodyan Bus Stand on Pune – Satara Road, various existing routes, including route no. 61 (Katraj Sarpodyan to Sarola), route no. 293 (Katraj Sarpodyan to Saswad via Kapurhol), route no. 296 (Katraj Sarpodyan to Windsor), and route no. 296A (Katraj Sarpodyan to Wanganiwadi), are available to reach Kondhanpur Phata.
PMPML has appealed to all devotees visiting Kondhanpur for Shree Tukaidevi darshan to utilize this enhanced bus service for a convenient and comfortable journey. The additional buses aim to streamline transportation and contribute to a smoother Yatra experience for all devotees.
