Pune Police Commissioner Swings into Action at Poona Club Open Pro-Am Golf Event
Pune, 11th November 2024: The Pro-Am event of The Poona Club Open 2024, held at the Poona Club Golf Course (PCGC), concluded with the participation of top golfing professionals from across the country. Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar was among the notable participants in the tournament.
Other key attendees included international golfer Rashid Khan, Poona Club President Gaurav Gadhoke, and the past captain and golf advisor of the Poona Club Golf Course.
In his address, Khan highlighted his mission to promote golf to a wider audience by encouraging the dissemination of knowledge about the sport at the grassroots level. He also appealed to citizens from all walks of life to engage with and appreciate golf, not just as a sport but as a potential profession.
