Pune: Policeman Beat Up Over Small Dispute, Case Filed Against Five

Pune, 19th September 2022: A policeman was brutally beaten on the head with a cement block due to a minor dispute in the Lohegaon area. Airport police have registered a case against five people in this case.

A case has been registered against five persons, including Kalidas Khandve and Mauli Khandve, residents of Lohegaon. Beaten police personnel P R Mote is seriously injured.

Mote is posted at the Airport Police Station. He had parked his vehicle in the Dhanori Jakat Naka area. Reportedly, Khandve parked a bike near his vehicle. Mote asked Khandve to remove the bike. After that, Khandve called his companions there and beat Mote and hit him with a cement block on his head.

Mote was seriously injured in the beating. Assistant Police Inspector S N Lahane is investigating the case further.
