Pune: PSKs And POPSKs To Attend Passport Applicants On 3rd December
Pune, 30th November 2022: On Saturday, 3rd December 2022, all Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) and Post Office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSKS) under the Regional Passport Office, Pune will be kept open to attend applicants. The applicants can book new appointments or reschedule their already booked appointments to 3 December 2022 under the Normal and Tatkal categories.
Those wanting fresh appointments should first submit the form online at https://www.passportindia.gov.in/ and make the payment online. After that, the applicant should log in again to the https://www.passportindia.gov.in/ website to verify the payment and schedule the appointment. Once done, the appointment confirmation can be seen in the portal.
Applicants who have already booked their appointments will be able to reschedule their appointments only once. If such applicants do not show up for the appointment, they will not be given any further chance to reschedule their appointments again. Such applicants are liable to forfeit their application fees.
To obtain a passport under the Tatkal Scheme –
a. Applicants over the age of 18 years have to submit any three documents listed at https://passportindia.gov.in
b. Applicants below the age of 18 years have to submit any two documents listed at https://www.passportindia.gov.in/
Ensure that the details mentioned (such as complete name, Date of Birth, father’s name, and others) are the same in all the documents. Small, cut-out Aadhaar cards/smart cards printed by non-UIDAI entities will not be accepted. If applicants book appointments under the Tatkal category but do not have the required number of documents, their applications will not be accepted.
