Pune, 11th May 2022: Due to the newly launched electric bus service at Fort Sinhagad, the employment problem of the locals has become serious. A ‘Sinhagad Bandh’ agitation will be organized by Raje Shivray Pratishthan against this decision.

“The agitation will be held on Sunday (May 15) at 9 am at Golewadi Tolanaka,” informed Mahesh Pavale, founder of the foundation, Vikram Barge, and Ranjit Temghare at a press conference.

They said that even though the electric bus has started, however, ordinary citizens are suffering a lot. Free parking should be provided at the foothills of Sinhagad fort, vehicles of local residents and private vehicles should be allowed as it takes a very long time to reach the fort. A notice related to the safety of visitors to the fort should be put for the awareness of the visitors.

This agitation will be held to demand measures for the conservation, protection and maintenance of Sinhagad fort.
