Pune RTO To Auction Seized Vehicles To Recover Tax And Penalties
Pune, 20th January 2023: The Pune Regional Transport Office’s (RTO) Quick Reaction Team has appealed to the owners of the vehicles detained in the premises of the Regional Transport Office, Alandi Road Office, Wagheshwar bus stand for unpaid vehicle tax and under various Motor Vehicle Act offences by paying the motor vehicle tax and penalty.
The Regional Transport Office will start the process of a public auction of 57 vehicles impounded for recovery of motor vehicle tax arrears and other offences under the Motor Vehicle Act. If the motor vehicle tax and fine are not paid, these vehicles will be auctioned and the tax will be recovered, the Deputy Regional Transport Officer has informed.
