Pune Rural Police Deploys 10 Teams To Trace Robbers Who Looted Bank of Maharashtra

Pune, 23rd October 2021: A total of 10 teams have been formed by Pune Rural Police to search robbers who looted cash and valuables worth Rs 2.3 crore from the Bank of Maharashtra (BoM), informed Abhinav Deshmukh, Superintendent of Police, Pune Rural.

The five armed robbers robbed the bank’s branch in Pimparkhed village in Shirur taluka on Thursday, 21st October. They have looted gold worth Rs 2 crores and Rs 30 Lakh cash. The incident was caught on the CCTV camera of the bank and police are searching for the robbers.

 

The search operation is going on and various CCTV footage are being checked by the police. The Ahmadnagar and Nashik Police are also supporting in their areas, Deshmukh said.
