Pune, 5th June 2021: Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, on Friday, flouted Coronavirus disease (COVID19) protocols and visited the Oxford golf course in Lavale in Mulshi taluka of Pune district. He was seen playing golf with former Indian fast bowler Ajit Agarkar.

According to the pandemic guidelines, all sports activities are prohibited, however, questions are being raised on the golf course management for flouting covid-19 guidelines by allowing players access during the strict lockdown in the Pune district. Now questions are being raised on how Tendulkar travelled from Mumbai to Pune, and if he had the e-pass then the question arises did he travelled all the way just to play golf?

Tendulkar’s car was seen in the VVIP parking lot of Oxford Golf Resort in Pune on Friday. Later the details of the car were matched and the Regional Transport Office (RTO) record confirms it was Tendulkar’s car only.

Pune district administration officials said that enquiry is being conducted and action is expected in the case.
